DESCRIPTION:Il Folk e il Punk tornano al Centro Sociale Bruno\, con una serata pazzesca!\nDalle 22 si comincia a ballare e cantare grazie a: \n? The Dogs from the Grapes sono un gruppo autoctono brentegano che suona bevendo\, o beve suonando\, qualcosa che può essere riconducibile a rock\, punk e folk. Tuttavia non ne sono molto sicuri. Attivi dal 2013\, ci proporranno quest’anno in scaletta il loro ultimo album “IN THE NAME OF CAPTAIN LUDD” che è entrato a dicembre nella top 40 di Celtic Folk Punk\n➡️ https://spoti.fi/2DVzWRG ⬅️ \n? The Froggers nascono durante l’anno 2010 quando i futuri batterista e chitarrista\, “Bronks” e “Loter” decidono di trovarsi a suonare insieme nel soggiorno della casa disabitata dello zio di Bronks.\nLe idee non sono molto chiare in principio\, essendo solo in 2 le scelte musicali non erano molto vaste\, così decisero di assoldare “SamSon”\, l’attuale bassista\, e “Vale”: voce e chitarra ritmica. Inizialmente i 4 iniziano a trovarsi per suonare alcune cover di gruppi come Bowling for soup\, blink 182 e Green Day. Non molto più tardi però iniziano a comporre pezzi originali con sonorità vicine al Punk Rock. E’ durante questo periodo che la band assume il suo nome attuale e forma le sue basi\, stabilendo un luogo di ritrovo ed un orario fisso per le sessioni di prova.\nNel periodo primaverile-estivo dell’ anno seguente la fondazione Vale decide di lasciare il gruppo a causa di motivi personali e\, dopo un periodo con Frintz alla voce\, il trio composto da Loter\,Bronks e Samson decide di accogliere “Pelo” alla voce per dare vita ad una nuova formazione della band\, ad oggi stabile.\nE’ quindi a settembre 2011 che I The Froggers nascono come sono tutt’ora. Il genere rimane pressochè invariato. Dopo un primo periodo di assestamento del nuovo quartetto dove la band proporrà un repertorio sostanzialmente uguale a quello della formazione precedente\, la band decide di intraprendere una strada caratterizzata dalla ricerca di un sound più veloce e “meno pop” per quanto riguarda certi pezzi\, mentre in altre situazioni cerca di essere più espansiva proponendo pezzi dalla buona orecchiabilità. Non viene meno l’ interpretazione di cover\, però i soggetti emulati cambiano passando a gruppi del genere di Ramones\, Rancid e soprattutto Misfits.\nNel frattempo la band continua a crescere ed a migliorare\, acquistando fama relativa negli ambienti in cui si trovava a suonare (Brentonico e dintorni in primis).\nA fine 2012 esce la prima demo del gruppo “Switch off the Box at ten o’clock” contenente 5 pezzi originali composti dal gruppo. Il genere del lavoro può chiamarsi un Punk a tratti deciso a tratti pop ma comunque dalla buona musicalità.\nLa band si esibisce consuetamente con la media di 2-3 concerti al mese durante il 2012\, partecipando anche ad un contest\, prendendo parte ad eventi come S.Cecilia Rock e Memorial Federico Leonardi (eventi mondani del luogo)\, suonando a feste ed in locali tra cui si vuole citare “Il Brillo Parlante” teatro di indimenticabili momenti. Ad inizio 2013 riesce grazie al supporto dei suoi fans\, ad ottenere il pass per aprire il concerto della band “sexy punk” Pornoriviste al Rocknroll Arena di Bolzano.\nIl repertorio attuale comprende circa una ventina di canzoni originali del gruppo e circa altrettante cover.
